This is an important day for us in the Diocese of Malolos because today is the Solemnity of our Patroness, Mary, the Immaculate Conception. But we are not the only ones who value this day, also our entire country is thankful to God because today is Thanksgiving Day in the whole Philippines, a sign of the many blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us. There is no better way to thank God than by participating in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
I invite everyone to go to church on this day because it is a holy day because we celebrate an important mystery for our salvation. We recognize the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Immaculate Mother because she was the first to experience the fruits of Jesus’ salvation. May we not only look at Mary in her purity. But let’s also strive to be clean in mind, word, and deed. An unclean mind is full of exploitation of others.
A word that is not carefully thought out, more often than not will hurt others. Actions that do not come from a heart of pure intent will inevitably result in sin. And don’t worry brothers and sisters, our Blessed Mother is with us and will guide us in our efforts to make our desires and their realizations pure. Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception to you all!
